This is album cover of [ Hello Stranger ] in rhythm game 'KALPA'. I was asked to express the passionate and cheerful atmosphere of a gypsy woman or to create freely at the artist's disposal.

Sketch draft
(1) 음원의 컨셉을 유지하는 방향으로 경쾌하게 춤을 추는 집시 여인을 표현함.
(2) 음원에서 느낀 강렬한 선율이 플라멩코 여인이 연상되어 자유 표현함. 모바일 화면에서 쓰일것을 고려하여 얼굴 클로즈업 구도 및 강렬한 눈 표현 위주로 강약을 조절함.

(1) Expressing a gypsy woman who dances cheerfully.
(2) Expressing a Flamenco dancer. Because I thought it goes well with the strong melody of the music. Considering the use on the mobile screen, the strength and weakness were adjusted based on the close-up composition of the face and intense eye expression.

Color draft
두 번째 스케치가 채택되어, 선화 및 가채색을 진행함.
정열을 상징하는 붉은색을 메인으로 선정하고 보조색으로 녹색, 검정, 노란색을 선택하여 전체적으로 화려하고 강렬한 분위기를 표현함.

The client adopted draft number 2, so I proceeded with the line drawing and color arrangement.
Red, which symbolizes passion, is selected as the main color, and green, black, and yellow are selected as auxiliary colors to express a colorful and intense atmosphere overall.

Final Art
2번 컬러로 진행하되, 붉은색이 많아 개체 분리가 안되므로 녹색계열 추가를 요청받음.
장미의 컬러 (빨강&초록)을 메인컬러로 지정하고 채색 및 완성 진행함.

The client adopted draft number 2, but asked to add green because it was concerned that there was a lot of red. So I decided the main color as red and green of the rose and completed work.
